BIOSTATISTICS & NATIVE WORD (.DOCX) THREE-LINE TABLE ENGINE

Publication-Grade Table 1 Baseline Generator (Native Word .docx + SMD)

Paste your de-identified cohort CSV/TSV table below. Our engine scans for PHI privacy leaks, automatically selects parametric (Mean ± SD, Welch’s t-test) vs. non-parametric (Median [IQR], Mann-Whitney U) tests, computes two-group Standardized Mean Differences (SMD), and exports a true 1.5pt/0.5pt Word (.docx) document.

1. Paste CSV / Excel Data (Max 500 Rows)

✓ PHI Privacy Guard Active: Scanning for unmasked names, IDs, phones, and MRNs

2. Academic Three-Line Table Preview

Analyzing >500 patients or need Kaplan-Meier & Cox regression? Import your full SPSS/Stata/Excel dataset into the Heurion Workstation to run isolated Python survival analysis and insert Table 1 directly into your manuscript.

Academic Standards for Table 1 in Clinical Research Manuscripts

In clinical trials and observational cohort studies, Table 1 summarizes baseline demographic and clinical characteristics across exposure or treatment groups. To meet peer-review standards: (1) Normally distributed continuous variables are reported as Mean ± SD and compared using Welch’s t-test or one-way ANOVA; (2) Skewed biomarkers (such as NT-proBNP or hs-CRP) are reported as Median [IQR] and compared via the Mann-Whitney U or Kruskal-Wallis test; (3) Categorical variables are reported as n (%) and tested via Pearson’s Chi-square or Fisher’s exact test; and (4) Observational studies increasingly report the Standardized Mean Difference (SMD, where |SMD| < 0.10 indicates baseline covariate balance, Austin 2009).
